Thought it said FAP Finder. That would have been a WIN.

Maybe they just have a thing for cervical cancer testing? Or for the doctors that perform said tests.

I know the guy that owned that car! The front subframe rotted to pieces, and the drivetrain was only held in with 2 bolts because the other mounts rotted or broke.

I know him too.....because it is me. I posted one of my more (in)famous autoX pictures earlier this morning. Really I'm no longer surprised the subframe fell apart. The first time I shattered a bolt, I should've taken it easier....but that just isn't the jalop way.

Now I know your username. I feel like mine should be obvious, but here's a pic for reference anyways:

How many autocrosses did you run missing the subframe? I want to say something like 3 or 4?

Missing? I had to have the subframe otherwise I wouldn't have an engine. I ran one on three out of four main subframe bolts. But what happened was the bushings kept collapsing and in the last one I ever did in that car, I think the entire frame just had a fail moment and damaged my steering rack too. The engine mounts were also pretty poor at that point. Oh and the transmission started to slip after that day too. I know I ran all the ones at dixie on a subframe that was falling apart so maybe 15 or so?

You may as well have had tow straps holding everything in place. I need to find some autocrosses near me in Washington. Getting the '65 upgraded with some Griggs stuff, and I'm gonna want to test it out.
