In the aircraft genre... I don't think it gets much more beautiful than the Bugatti 100P, either the original (now a restored museum piece, pictured), or the replica being built to actually fly.

Yeah, not gonna lie. It was a pretty thinly veiled plea.

I'm just bummed out right now. All of my friends are really feeling in the shitter right now for one reason or another, and frankly, so am I. The problem is that there's nothing that I can do about any of it but just sit there through it, and that feeling of powerlessness is maddening.

Thus, pictures of beautiful things to serve as a distraction, if only for a short time.

I really like the look of the '42 Chryslers, shame they were nipped in the bud/ not picked up again after the war. I think the '47/'48 takes this design philosophy too far.

I suspect even just a few dismisses foul to greyness - the recs/dismiss probably has to be north of 10:1 for someone to be "safe", but I'd suspect it tracks them all differently for each blog. Which is insane, but very Kinja. Here's a '35 Delage for you to (hopefully) recommend.

I just saw one of these the other day on my way home. I forgot how much I liked them. I know that it is not as elegant as the 507 or early Mercs, but it is awesome in person.
