Is it a weird angle, or is that chalice enormous?

Ingredients sound so fine. What's the alcohol content?

Must. Find. This.

9.6%. It doesn't taste it.

It's a dogfish head snifter (think size of a brandy snifter).

Egads! I was just looking at that today and wondering if it was good. Sadly, I spent most of my beer money this month on beers that I'm cellaring... I'm on the fence about whether I'd enjoy it or not. I only like porters that aren't overly sweet and have a nice solid kick-in-the-ass.

Ahhhh I'm cellaring both my w00tstouts for now... can't wait to crack them open this winter.

It's a bit sweet. But it's rather unlike any porter I've had before. It's very, very smooth and should age nicely.

Had two... now I just have one. Couldn't wait. Plus I like having a baseline to compare it to for when it does age.

That's a good idea. I should have bought four.
But seriously, there's a lot more in my "cellar" than in my fridge...

Yeah, my beer buying has
significantly
declined while my financial situation is in flux (wife isn't working currently, makes things a bit tight), so my budget which was in territory which we shall not speak of, is now essentially a prioritization of "will I ever see this beer again?" and "how much will I hate myself if I miss it?" Suede fell into the respective categories 'no' and 'lots'. Which is why I planned on buying two.
I've been clearing through my 'cellar' over the last few months, slowly, I will say that the Otter Creek 20th Anniversary Ale has aged about as well as any beer I have ever had.
