For some time between 2005-2010 You could have a fwd, manual, diesel Cadillac wagon in Europe... Ok it was based on a Saab 9-3, but apparently without any of the good bits. No one really bought them either. The Cadillac BLS.
(Yeah, the one pictured is probably not a diesel)

I still say they should've sold it over here! Cute, good mpg, yet still has the luxury and prestige to go with sportiness and good mpg. Besides, a BLS-V would've been fucking awesome.
Yeah I like small 4-cylinder luxury cars.

Over here, the only thing to define them as luxury was the extremely high insurance rating and probably the msrp. Sold on the strength of the badge, not the car. That turned out to be a mistake.
I'd like them to push the CTS as rhd diesel wagon in the UK.
