Ok, recently I have gotten a 1973 Gran Torino Sport.
Some details on that: Q-Code 351 Cleveland CobraJet engine. Bucket Seats and center console, all original interior and body work. minor rust on the rear bumper but just surface.
Now, my main question to all of you is this: What classic Muscle car would you like to see return to a makers line up? Chevy Chevelle? Ford Galaxy 500? Pontiac in general? New Baracuda? GM bring back a 442? What?
Lets figure this out guys!
Here are some examples:

I remember hearing rumors that after the Challenger lives out its expected lifespan, SRT will be a possible loophole for bringing back the Barracuda.

I'm sorry, it doesn't start with an "F". :) Although they undid the "Five Hundred" nonsense and brought "Taurus" back, so stranger things have happened.

Personally, I loved the Challenger remake. I thought they did a great job of making it look like a modern day classic muscle car. Now I'd like to see Plymouth's return of the Hemi 'Cuda.

"crysler bring back a 442?"
Shame on you...

It seems Mopar has been doing a good job bringing back the old classics, I would like to see GM do the same, my all time favorite car has to be the Chevy Nova, I would love to see them bring it back, even if they spent 20 years designing it, so it was just right, I would wait.

As a Poncho owner and fan, I'd love to see the mark come back, but with a unique offering apart from the standard GM lineup. I'd also like to see a suicide door equipped Lincoln!

sorry typing on my phone

Honest mistake, but I cringed a little. I think you should go see a doctor about that.

Yes, well its still the morning and when I finally got out of my first two classes (health and math) things can be fuzzy when you miss your morning caffeine

Edit (because apparently Kinja took away the comment editing): I also wouldn't mind seeing a new version of the Ford Fairlane.

Dude...you just blew my mind! I never noticed that all of Ford's current production models start with "F". Maybe that's why we don't have the Ranger anymore.
![]() 10/09/2013 at 11:59 |

Yes that would be amazing!
![]() 10/09/2013 at 11:59 |

A Lincoln based off the new mustang with them would be interesting....
![]() 10/09/2013 at 12:03 |

It's mostly the (non-Mustang) cars.
AND, most of the SUVs start with "E"....mind double blown!?

1970 AMC Rebel Machine. Or the 1974 Matador X 401 4-speed.
Oh wait. Shit! Didn't Chrysler buy AMC 26 years ago? And doesn't Chrysler already have a flying brick in the SRT8 Charger line?
Sonofabitch!

That's too funny. Who knows they just might if SRT needs something new.

As a Buick man - and since Buick is still around, as opposed to AMC, which was the subject of my first answer - I'd say anything with the GS455 Stage 1 needs to come back. In Skylark form:
Wildcat/Centurion form:
And Riviera form:

I would like to see a new GSX for sure
![]() 10/09/2013 at 12:22 |

Yea. Edge, Escape, Exploder, Expedition and Excursion. I wonder why?
![]() 10/09/2013 at 12:23 |

My guess is that it wasn't intentional, they just ended up with a couple and decided to keep it going.
![]() 10/09/2013 at 13:00 |

That does make sense. Either way, it's interesting.

Pontiac in general! We need more Firebirds and a new GTO!
![]() 10/09/2013 at 16:12 |

"crysler" is not an acceptable typo or understandable autocorrect for "Oldsmobile".
![]() 10/09/2013 at 16:16 |

Hmm?
![]() 10/09/2013 at 16:31 |

A properly done Nomad rehash would be great...

Hey, I had just gotten out of bed and my first class when I wrote this. Brain wasn't firing on all cylinders quite yet.

I'll stretch the definition of muscle car, since I'd like to see the Chevrolet El Camino SS return. The Holden Utes are fine and all, but the styling is decidedly meh for me.
