Version from live at Wembley, video isn't as cool, but Grohl is.

I'll never forget when I saw them perform this song live front row center back in 2000. The whole stage was illuminated with green lights, and fog from dry ice consumed the entire floor of the stage.

13 years, and I'm still in awe - commenting about it on Oppo. It was incredible.

I am very, very jelly. I have seen Van Halen and Muse live, but I'll be damned if they haven't traveled farther south in FL. Past pencicola. And those tickets were about $200 a person. If I ever meet Dave Grohl I'll ask him when the new album is out. If he says it's not confirmed, I'll just reply, "I guess you could say...(puts on sunglasses)...It's just A Matter of Time."

Saw them here at the Tampa Ice Palace. Weezer opened for them. Amazing fucking show. He did it acoustic then at the end the whole band comes in. Not a dry eye.

Oh you're gonna kill me for this:

That same concert, Dave Grohl walked down into the crowd right next to me. I gave him a pat on the back - and then strummed his guitar as he was wearing it. That was fun.

But. I can remember when this first song came out in 1997. Sadly (and because I'm 30 now), I have a depressing story about this song. I was a freshman in high school. It was a cold, dreary November morning here in CT. Everything changed that day when the school informed us that some classmates of ours had just died in a car accident that morning. This song had just debuted on was on the radio 24/7. And just like some things can't be unseen, I can no longer disassociate this song from death, and cold overcast rainy weather.

Sorry man. I feel like such a downer now for mentioning it, but that's what it is for me.

Wow. I wish I could have been there.

Not just for FF, but because I miss Florida.

Bugs really doesn't help FL's cause. I used to live near Orlando from '08 to '11. I think most people would be surprised to learn that it's not as crazy as Gawker makes it out to be. I love that state.

Although I used to live in central FL, thankfully I was away from the crazy rednecks. I think they're more around... the Lakeland area. Probably up near Gainesville, too. And then the panhandle is just a trip man, whoa.
