I always wanted to take one of these, strip it out, and drop some silly Civic motor in it. Sure its got tiny tires on it, but I really liked the way it looked.

Do they cost a lot of money used? I know Hondas hold their value, but of course there was that concern about buying those old hybrids used, and the Insight was only a 2-seater anyway.

I still think they should've made that the new CRX and offered non-hybrid versions.

There was one with exactly this on my local craigslist only a week ago.

My dad has one of these. It's a decent car to drive; but it's not my thing. I would like to take the drive train from one of these, though, and make a bellhousing that would adapt it to RWD... and place it in an all-aluminum Seven.

I was thinking about this car the other day. From a pure point to point transportation perspective they make a ton of sense if you can get one cheap.

These were one of the cars I liked when I was much younger, but I still have a spot for them today.

55 mpg sure beats my 40 @ 80 in the Jetta TDi. How's the ride?
