I don't know if this applies to the US and Canada but here in the UK I often find urbanites driving like they have no idea what they're doing on rural roads.
Comes with obligatory BRZ on country road photo

This. When I get the chance, I'm going to get some video footage of the various degrees of country road near my house. I've got a few in mind that are real bastards.

I drove down a half a mile of road today that was single lane with 20 metre high rock walls either side. Down in Devon

The West Country has some very nasty roads. Easily the most rural I've ever driven on.
Haven't come across cliff-like walls of rock yet though.

It may be a bit different over here. Our country roads are pretty much just unpaved regular roads. Apart from the people who go 5mph because they're paranoid about gravel chips, city folk do alright.

In America, this is roughly 75% the size of our lanes.

In the US it is simple. Go fast, slide sideways. Rural roads are fun!
