I know internet marketing is kind of a new thing, but this is sad.
http://www.jackiecooperimports.com/new/Porsche/20…
“Load your family into the 2014 Porsche Cayman”
as long as its only the two of you...
“All of the premium features expected of a Porsche are offered, including: power front seats, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and air conditioning”
air conditioning is a premium Porsche thing you know....
“Smooth gearshifts are achieved thanks to the refined 6 cylinder engine”
I'll just leave this one here....
To quote a friend: “They pride themselves in the quality of their vehicles, not their listings.”

lol yeah, it's usually scripted stuff when involving trade ins

BAHAHAHA. I'm glad you just left that one there. The whole thing is hilarious. This is my favorite Oppo post of the day!
Gold star.
Edit: Someone needs to make a meme for "smooth gearshifts from the refined engine".

Sometimes I feel like there are many industries where I could be very successful. Then again, who do you think can afford a new Cayman off the lot? Millenials?

It appears they have Michael J. Fox doing their photography
Do you want to retake that one? No? No. Ok, I'm sure you know what you are doing.

Oh look!!!
The G37 they have on sale also features smooth gearshift because of it's refined V6, too!

No need to retake, internet isn't really a big deal...

Well, at least they don't have a manually adjusted door mirror. I remember seeing one on Citroen's website quite a long time ago.

In regards to this angle...
What if the Cayman had a variant where the wheel base at the rear was pulled out 6 inches, and you'd have a bit of a shooting brake form? I'd definitely get with that. The Panamera is just so god darn ugly.

Most of the guys in those jobs are forced to use terrible templates or just write whatever the manager tells them to. In all fairness, it's probably only half his fault.

I feel like they stick the most uneducated inbred folks up in the internet department (so they don't have to be seen).
I recently purchased a Jeep, but in doing so I had to contact all three "local" dealers web departments as I wanted a manual transmission and none of the web sites offer a way to filter this (and I am a lazy American).
Out of the three, one was able to correctly identify that they had zero jeeps with manuals on the lot or incoming.
One sent me a listing of one with an auto, when I replied "that one has an automatic transmission, I want a manual" they then sent me two more listings of auto trucks.
The third dealer (after requesting listings of manual transmission wranglers) sent me listings for Grand Cherokees...
Needles to say, I spent the time searching the websites on my own.

Am I about to defend a car dealer? Jesus save me. But, in all fairness, that ad is from a Nissan Dealer that apparently sells "imports" too. Not an actual Porsche dealer. Now, that's not to say we couldn't find an asshat or three working at an actual Porsche dealer, but using general superlatives like "premium features" and "smooth gearshifts"... ehhh, he's just some schmoe trying to sell used cars. As someone else mentioned, he's just some guy doing what he's told. *shrugs*

I know a few that go farther than their folder of pre-formatted ads when listing on the internet. One of my best friend's girlfriend was head of internet sales at a Mercedes dealership and took her job way more seriously than this guy. She took great pride in both the composition and content of the pictures of the ad. Would often ask if there was anything on the car I would want to see as a buyer that wasn't there. Unfortunately a lot of them phone it in like your example shows.

I know this dealer very well. It is the only dealer for Mercedes Benz and Porsche in Tulsa, OK. Now that may not seem like a big market, but it has a very large market for expensive cars thanks to old oil money. I can't just *shrug* it off.

If you say so. Their website conveys the opposite. So, not only does their "internet sales" department suck... their webdesigner blows. Sucks and blows, an enigma wrapped in a conundrum! But, I still gotta shrug it off. I'm in Texas, not OK, and with the Eagle Ford Shale play going down, there's plenty of oil money getting thrown around here too. Life is good. lol

Or they need to take 6 inches and two doors off of the Panamera... that would be nice as well.

Yeah, I completely agree with you on the image they are putting into the website

See? The one time I try and defend a car dealership and it jumps up and bites me square in the ass. hehehe

I stand by my original statement. That Panamera rear end is turrible. Mostly because I see it as a woman whose frame is thick, and I don't always find them appealing. Sometimes they are very lovely to look at if they're cute but just too thick for me to hop into bed with.

I only hope the rear of the new Cayman is the style direction the Panamera will go when it is updated. Even tho the Panamera sells well, it needs a reworking.
Or they just build the wagon already...

I am glad some people take that job seriously, but why wouldn't the others just pull from the manufacturer's website instead of some cookie cutter crap like this?
