A small explanation is likely in order. I like Koelsch, and I went to the Reissdorf brewery and bought a set of glasses and a kranz to carry them in.
As noted elsewhere, I have about two cases (I bought two stores out of their complete stock) on hand, and there is more alcohol in my refrigerator than food. I could be convinced into SR-20ing that...

Very nice.
On another note — the state of this kitchen:

Kölsch? Really?
*Guy from Bavaria disapproves strongly.*

Let's see you go on business trips for multiple months on end and try to keep up.
In other news, it's also slated for demolition and major remodeling in the near term future. Along with most of the rest of the house.

Could also be smart and not even considering the option which ends in divorce.

It's not as if I don't drink my Trappist ales or wheat beer from Bayern.
The name however, is Dom.

The kranz is a sure sign that you're a hardcore Kölsch drinker. I approve!
Also, just had a little wave of nostalgia for my time in Germany...

I'm getting things more organized, mainly because after a while, I get sick of looking at a mess.
I have two HVAC contractors coming this week to give me an estimate to replace the 25 year old furnace and A/C unit. Then comes the painters to paint and trim the dining room (I'll be able to move things in there then).
Then comes the kitchen: New cabinets (originals from when the house was built, and they are coming apart), new range with new gas line, and countertop and floor (Not liking the black bamboo floor).
After that, then I'll see what to do with the bedrooms.

I also cannot keep conversation threads straight anymore. :)
