!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Would the glue even stick after 40 years? I'm going to stick with my new set from Phoenix Graphics, but it would be awesome just to have these ancient things. Anyways, in my opinion: CP if they don't stick. NP if they stick and you don't buy the hood bird.

CP Unless you're a graphic designer intending to reproduce the graphics. I know, it's never the sam e as NOS, but $5400 buys a lot of comfort .I still haven't dropped the $88 on targa stripes for the Brat. Also want a Mothra Firebird-style hood decal. That's not factory.

You should be good to go then. Question: Are those stock graphics decals or vinyl stickers?

The old ones in the post?

I was talking about the stock ones that came on the cars.

I have no clue. What's the difference between the two kinds?

Decals are very thin and must be soaked in water to loosen the from their backing material. Vinyl stickers are thicker and attached to a paper usually and do not require any water. You just peel them off the backing and attach. Decals can be repositioned, vinyl is a one shot application.

Don't know for sure, but I think they are decals.

The glue would...probably not stick after 40 years, no.
Or not stick well enough.
And the last thing you want is your bird decal to actually sprout wings and flap around in the airstream. I mean that would be funny, yes, but still fail.

Buy them. Scan them. Trace them. Have new ones laser cut.
No brainer.
