So I wake up today semi-hung over from only two damn beers! Man, my tolerance sucks and to think 10 years ago I could handle 10-15 in a night and be pretty much o.k. the next day. Well the good news is my expensive 6-packs will last longer. Oh well, enjoy some me-bait.

The first was a Radelberg Pilsner at 12 oz or so the second was an Allagash Black at 7.5 % alc. So I think it was the Stout that put me over.

Also remember, that good beer is prob running in the range of 7-12% alcohol content, and the old stuff you used to drink probably maxed out at 5-7% . I Know Surly a local brewer that I like none of their lowest is like 4.1. good stuff, liquor stores and bars used to have to be on a waiting list and be approved by them to sell it, because they didn't want it handled wrong. Little caveats like it must be kept cold, if you can't keep it in cold storage you didn't sell it. Good stuff though.

Haha that happens to me more often. That's what happen when you get older. When I was 18 I could drink 6 tall boys, and nothing would happen. Today however, not so much.

Oh if I'm drinking Pilsner it better be real-deal stuff the Radelberg piles I tried last night was pretty good. The Allagash stout, while also tasty should have been saved for another day.

I was pulled over by a female cop one time, and she asked me how many I had. I told her 2 , maybe 3 which was true. She told me the right answer is to deny any drinking at all, and then let me go with a warning for no seat belt (which I was wearing) I guess she just liked me.
