Did these Tahoe's come with a lever operated 4 wheel drive and transfer case?

Should be push button, but I'm not positive. Gm started using push buttons in everything in the mid 90's.

In the GMT400 bodystyle ('88-'98 C/K trucks, '92-'99 SUVs), manual floor shift T/C's were standard equipment. Push-button was added later as an option on the pickups, and while it was on most of the later SUVs, it might've been optional on them as well. I can't say with 100% certainty that the manual shift was or wasn't standard on the late-model SUVs, but judging by both this one, and GIS'ing "99 tahoe interior", I'd say push-button was optional.

Odviously they did not because I was referring to that picture. The push button transfer case is very cumbersome and never seemed to work on my 04' Suburban. Just looking for a car in NYC. Always like Tahoes! Did the four wheel drive come with a high and low range?

Yes, it's a very traditional setup, with 2wd high, 4wd high, neutral, and 4wd low. Best pic I could find of the actual pattern (the orange position is neutral):

My 95 Tahoe was on the floor like that. The "Activator" switch is heated oil and was bad on mine (keeps flashing, never locks in the front wheels). A set of ramps and one wrench, $25 part later the truck I bought with "busted 4wd" had 4WD.

Not sure what's up with that picture. They went from lever to buttons in either '96 or '97. That probably isn't a '99.
