I really enjoy making waffles. My wife was nice enough to get me a good waffle-maker a few years ago. You can make waffles from scratch, and they are very good but that is a total pain in the ass. You can also make them just as good from a mix. Tonight I tried the "Hungry Jack Belgian Waffle Mix: Just add water," pretty good and here is a tip use club-soda instead of water, the carbonation creates a fluffier waffle. And cook them on the lowest, or second to lowest setting on the waffle-maker, then toast. That way the inside is fluffy and the outside is crispy.

Waffles are awesome! Although I prefer thin pancakes. Both are great.

Making waffles from scratch is easy. And I prefer how it turns out to the pre made mix.
I also make em with whole wheat and sometimes throw in some oatmeal.
