First up from Saskatoon Kijiji (there's fuck-all on the local CL), and I'm excluding dealer ads ON GENERAL PRINCIPLE:
demerits, because slushbox. Still pretty though! $8900
There appear to be some inconsistencies in the ad copy - Lady owned, there's some scratches, not abused, 130,000KM, new clutch. New clutch @130,000? My mom's 90 Escort is still running on it's first clutch. Not abused, my ass. $3500
This appears to be an incomplete PCH - Drivers side door cladding needs to be (re-?)attached, the "engine block is a: 4g63t (same block as in the earlier Mitsubishi Lancer Evo)" (his words, not mine!) $2400, Xanax not included.
New tires drives fine, and that's all he's got to say on that. Still, for $4900, I think it's NP.
Holy shit, $1000? Wait, it's an automatic, needs PS hose and spark plugs. Hmmm, at 258060KM. I'm pretty sure it'll need more than plugs and a power steering hose.

Since this is the last one, I'll have the most commentary.
Pros:
-4WS, not many can claim their car has that
Yeah, that's all I've got.
Cons-
-Leaks oil, and a leaky exhaust. "Pritty tite whip"? Maybe if you're Sasha Grey.
-Aluminum spoiler - FnF fan? Car's ratbagged as badly as a 1992 Mustang owned by a 17-year bro. Pretty much the only thing one can guarantee about this car.
- Parts are gonna be spendy, which is the more likely reason he's floggin' his whip. I can't imagine the repair time on a 4WS system is going to be cheap, either.
Caveat Emptor: wise words indeed.

Sell the Blu-ray player and downgrade to some cheap wheels to try and come in under $20,000. Unfortunately, (fortunately) almost all of the money went direclty into improving its performance, or the paint and body work. There's very little you could do to bring the price down, it's a package deal.

Unfortunately it's all still stock on the motor, so it's not putting out much more power/performance than a stock RX-7 twin turbo, but between the body modifications and engine potential, $10,000 could go a long way. The suspension all comes down to tuning, but I'm sure you could tweak it to be seriously fast.

1993 del sol si, 172,xxx miles. runs good beside few minor things, always started right up.
Pros:exhaust, new coldair intake, new shifter, starter, alternator, and tires DOES NOT SMOKE!!
Cons:needs alternator belt, leaks alittle oil(permetex around valve cover instead of gasket), bouncy because coil overs, i have the door pannel off bc the driver side door is off alignment, you have to pick it up to shut it, and it needs the air control valve cleaned.

Let's see here...
a 1991 MR2 Turbo with only 63k miles for $9495. A bit high, but possibly worth it if the car's in good enough condition.
A 1993 3000GT . No mention of trim level is made but it's a 5-speed manual and it's a reasonable $1800.
A 1999 Eclipse for $1899 . Again, no mention of trim level but it doesn't look like a low-end model. Possibly a GS or GS-T.
