This may actually help save cooler cars in Japan. Population centers in Japan are densely organized, but far in between. For those who drive small shoebox cars, these may catch on and become ideal; conversely, they will leave room for the good old sports cars and sports sedans of the glory days (80s and 90s) that are currently staring down an imminent doom. The i-Road does actually seem really cool, too.
