Had an awesome time today at the Montreal F1 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve driving a Lambo.
They only rented half the track, but you got to go full-out down the back straight from the Casino hairpin, past the "Wall of Champions", and into the Senna esses before rejoining the section of track for pedestrians, rollerbladers, and bikes.
The copilot I had was super cool and gave me lots of leeway after the first lap until the end.
There were lots of cones and predetermined braking zones, but it sure was a lot of fun anyway. You never get to (legally) go flat-out on the F1 track unless you join CTCC, Porsche GT3 Cup, the Ferrari Challenge, etc. so this was a unique opportunity.
They're hoping to get the full track next year...hope they do!

Most instructors for these events rarely let you drive the car even remotely fast. Glad this guy let you have some fun.

For sure. They kept everything pretty safe and over the course of 4 laps, based on what he saw, he kept giving me more and more leeway.
It was nice on the second lap when he said "Hey, I didn't even have to say anything that lap!" :)
I need to join the CTCC...
