I don't know the current blue book value... this could be high.

But $9K for a 20K mile GTV6 manual transaxle italian red beauty...

I'd certainly be tempted to pay it, if I had that money available for a hobby/special occasion car.

It hardly seems like there is a plethora of these cars, certainly not anywhere near this pristine condition (although, perhaps beware of age-related decay)

I doubt you could buy an 85 Porsche 944 Turbo in the same low mileage pristine condition for $9K, if you are looking for other euro transaxle cars.

But I would look up some authoritative reference for classic car value on this before writing the check.

That thing has been for sale forever now. That price is too good for the stated information, so I have a very strong feeling that there's a lot of unstated information that's causing it to not get sold.

It's an Alfa so CP at any price... that shouldn't stop you though. Alfa's aren't about that.
