Well, that height sign is a bit obscured, but for fuck's sake, just back straight up and then turn into that driveway/street on the left!

I hope you called the number letting him know how his driving was :)

I think they pretty much figure it out themselves.

I am assuming he noticed too late that he wasn't going to make the bridge, locked up, and slid into that position. I cannot imagine that being his regular attempt at a 2453 point turn.

If he slid into that position, I assume he was going WAY too fast for that road.

probably, but way too fast with that much weight, isn't that fast, given the road is wet that is a lot of momentum to stop when you slam on the brakes, the trailer wants to continue on its intended path of travel (ie straight) and pushed the cab around. Thats my internet NTSB take on it anyways. Also it could be unrelated, but there appears to be a good black skid mark before the puddle, could be from the truck, or it could have already been there.
Also sorry for demonstrating that after 27 years, I still do not know how to properly use a comma.

Also, that Central Park sign is eerie.

Eh, during CDL class we were told weight=better stopping in a truck. I found that out on a couple occasions sliding at lights. 35mph in a semi with a slightly loaded 28' trailer slides more than a weighted 53' trailer. (Haven't personally tested that one out as I've only driven our 53' softside once and it was empty) I still lean towards idiot driver thinking he's Austin Powers.

Very well could be, you clearly have more experience than I do, I have approx 0 time drivng any thing bigger than an f350 dualy with a goose neck 4 horse trailer with living quarters straight on the highway.
