There's always this stupid double standard:
Guy buys a Fiat Punto, puts a huge Italian flag on it: " He's homaging his Italian Roots and the Fiat's roots "
Guy buys a DS3 with the optional french flag roof: " He's respecting the origin of this car, celebrating the french culture "
Guy buys a 240sx, covers it with Japanese symbols, flag and other JDM stuff: " A example of the Japanese influence on the world "
Guy buys a 67 Camaro, puts American flag on it: " AMERICA, FUCK YEA! "
Guy buys a Mini with the british flag on the roof: " A symbol of the great history of British automotive history and the respect the people have for its influence ".
Guy buys a BMW, puts a german flag on it: " Nazi "

And it's just ONE example, I've seen the same going for other stuff like a shirt, phone case, or even saying "patriotic" things about germany.
