Seriously this one sucked, no more snow flakes please. I cheated by not doing the hood graphic, just tracing around it pissed me off.

Vector trace?

If you call using the manual selection tool that, then yes, you can use straight lines or hold down the mouse and freehand. It's how I do everything.

What program are you using? If it's illustrator, I highly recommend learning the pen tool. It's really not too bad after you trace a couple things. I traced the entire coastline of Great Britain to teach myself the tool. It worked.
This is a photo-realistic vector project I did in Illustrator using only the pen tool:

Microsoft Digital Image Sweet Anniversary Edition Editor. Picture Photoshop, but retarded.

Ahh, I see. This kind of work really does lend itself more to a vector program if you can get your hands on one. Still, it looks pretty good for what it is!

Yeah retard PS is perfect for me doing this retarded cell shading like stuff. Not trying to be photo realistic at all.

No, I mean even for the cell-shading look, Illustrator, or any vector program, would suit you better I think. This is what they're made to do. Photoshop and the like is for raster imaging, which works pixel by pixel. Vector is all math, so you can scale it to any size and it will always be smooth. That was the point of the vector Corvette above. Photo quality at any size.

No that's really cool, but I'm kinda going for the shitty factor, also I don't want to buy anything.

AWESOME! I think I have found my new avatar pic. Sorry about all the pin striping...

The pin stripes weren't the issue. It was those fucking snow flakes.

No sweat man. I'm not trying to demean or sell you something. There are a bunch of free programs here: http://www.onextrapixel.com/2011/03/15/10-…
All I'm trying to do is the graphic design equivalent of informing you that a socket wrench would work better for what you're trying to do than a crescent wrench.
Also, that Corvette project was an 80+ hour senior project for my BS degree in Computer Graphics Technology. It's not really representative of what vector programs are typically used for. It's an exercise in patience and finesse more than a useful talent on its own.
