Thank you for that visual; however, it's still not clear to me exactly what happened, but it appears as though one of the biker-dudes smashed (or tried to smash) the driver-side window of the Range Rover?

Also, I never new until this image that the Range Rover was totally surrounded by the bikers AND that they were completely stopped in the roadway!

Yeah still rather unclear but looks as one strikes the driver window or door. Later in the video as the RR drives by doesn't seem to be damage on the vehicle but extremely hard to see clearly.

I watched this last night several times on fullscreen HD with headphones and volume cranked...

It's faint, but there is an audible noise during that first stop that sounds like one or more of the squids were in fact beating on his car. I would have plowed through them too.

key is, look at how many of them are there, most sitting on their bikes, waiting, watching.

and doing nothing to stop it....

based on the original video, the driver's side mirror is broken, and based on another video where they smash a prius' mirror, and based on another opponaut biker's comment that he smashes mirros, and based on other videos of the same from bikers vs cagers in traffic smashing mirros, I'd say they smashed his mirror for some slight, or perceived infraction of their rules.

My best guess, he was surrounded by them, tried to get out of the way, failed, eventually came to a stop to avoid some brake checking fool who was trying to close down the road for maaaaad stuntaz action and then they were annoyed with him now being stopped in the road. They started braking mirrors and he likely slowly rolled out, gather speed he eventually finds himself still surrounded and again they attempt to slow him to a stop with brake checking techniques, from there the original video tells the story.
