Interesting. If it is all based on clever engine mapping, then maybe the playing field becomes a bit more level for a while next year until they figure out the mapping on the new engines.

While I'm more than a little tired of the utter dominance displayed by Red Bull; I have to say, if they managed to mimic the effect without breaking any current laws, good on them. This is what F1 is all about, using ingenuity to maximize performance while staying within defined limitations. I do miss the batshit crazy things they were allowed to try in the 70's though...

I have to admit, I'm getting really tired of Red Bull's dominance but if they aren't breaking any rules, good job! Using ingenuity to find performance within specific constraints is what F1 is al about.

I do miss the batshit crazy designs they were allowed to try in the '70s though...

yeah... Can't the constraints be, no more 11 tires, no more than 2 engines, no more than 4 liters of displacement and uhm... x ft. long * x ft. wide * x ft. tall
