Ian Callum's choice surprises me. He's spent so much of his career designing curvaceous cars like the DB7 and XK, then says the best-looking car is something as straight-edged as a Riviera? Huh.
Also, the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale is possibly my choice too.

I think the curvilinear or rectilinear designs speaks more to the at the time current trend of design rather than his opinion on good vs bad design. Also I should note that I have been in the position of painting or drawing something that I didn't really like that I didn't want to be creating that type of art but others have been passionate about it and really liked it. So it might be the case that he doesn't like his designs on some level. this is just speculation of course but I am just trying to make the point that what one creates and appreciates doesn't have to be the same.
