I can never relax. I only think of how I'm letting down my team, how my boss probably thinks I'm faking, and all the work I should be doing...

You should feel bad. A good worker would simply go to work, get everyone else sick, and look like a rock star when everyone else stays home when they fall ill and you're getting better.

I hate going home sick because I just keep getting emails to my phone... which makes me remote in from my laptop... which means I'm still doing work but wasting sick time too.

Haha. I always feel the same way when I go home when I'm legitimately sick. It's sad that we can't take into account our own health before we do our jobs/livelihood, but you're also not going to be very productive when you're not feeling well either.
