Someone ran a red light and hit my friend, his car rolled 2 and a half times (landing on the roof).

Is your friend alright?

Yeah, amazingly he walked away from the whole thing.

I just bought some parts for my cruiser from a similar situation, t boned by a red light runner, flipped it right onto its roof. Done.

I would have beat some to the ground if I was your friend. How did the other driver fair?

Looks like it held up amazingly well. Glad to hear he walked away.

Good he's fine and very impressive for a small car.

Jesus Chist, you'd think people went through the effort to manucture, purchase, install and maintain these "red lights" for some strange reason. God this stuff pisses me off.

Short-timed yellow lights terrify me. I'll only run through yellow if I know how long it stays there (and how much distance I have and how much speed I can pick up, obviously).
edit: Noticed the Texas tags, hello! I'm seated in Houston.

Yeah, whenever yellow lights come on at just the moment where it's 'make or break it' I freak out a little. The thought of running a red light is horrifying to me.

Yeah, accidents like this are easily preventable. It is quite frustrating, especially when the end result is a fatality.
