I pass a M6 like this going to work all the time, same color and everything, just with the gay US spec bumpers

I will always, always want one of these.

They're about 10 times cooler in person. With proper detailing, if it looks factory clean inside and out, it's a transcendental experience.

I toyed with the idea of getting one earlier this year, but I wasn't comfortable subjecting it to the rigors of the daily commute. Still, maybe someday ...

$25k is an absolute rip for a 633, no matter how perfect it is.

It's missing the front airdam and has weird looking aftermarket fog lights, it's on TRX wheels/tires which are impossible to replace, and it's got the smaller engine.

You should be able to find a very good condition series II (1982-1987) (or even III - 1988-1989) for half that price. Don't go for the series I (1977-81) because it's got early L-Jetronic fuel injection that is very finicky.

Well, I do have cars I'd rather have in that price range, but when I saw it in person, the minty-ness is what really struck me

Yeah, I didn't notice the 20,000 mile odometer at first glance.
Time machine, seriously.

Those are BBS RS wheels (Style 5s as are commonly referred to only came in 17" and were actually the BBS RC090), hence the 16" design. Better looking, but not Style 5s (and about 250-350% of the cost). But yes, wonderful car. Shame my E24 doesn't have Euro bumpers.
