Good news? Well my investments have done alright... and I still have a girlfriend. And the debt I racked up on doing house repairs and upgrades earlier this year should be paid off by January or February.
And I don’t have to pay child support now that I have my kids full time... though tied to that good news is the bad news that my ex still doesn’t have her shit together.
Also Tesla Model 3 production bottlenecks sound like they’ve been somewhat fixed based on recent reports of substantially increased production.
And I got a great deal from Canada Computers for a new 20,000mAH battery bank for only CAD$25.

I landed a job with a company that was willing to move my wife and I across the country to Colorado. I’ve went off-road 5 times in the 3 months I’ve been here. I’ve paid down a ton of debt and besides the political climate this year hasn’t been that bad for me.

My wife became cripplingly depressed and unable to work, leading to a cascade of medical bills and forcing me to leave a job and city I loved to move 1100 miles back into my parents unfinished basement where I’ve gone through 5 jobs in 6 months trying to find something I can bear that will let us actually make a dent in these bills before we’re forced into bankruptcy.

I’d love that but my job is in the Denver metro area. But I can be in the mountains in less than an hour getting lost with no one around. Its pretty awesome. I’m not finding myself modding my wife’s XJ in subtle ways that she won’t notice to make it better off road.
I told David Tracy is he actually makes it to Moab ill caravan out with him as a support vehicle with the WJ.

Minimum price for a decent house here is $285-310,000 in the Denver metro area. My wife and I aren’t pleased. If you head over to the western slope its in the mid to high $100's but less pay for what I do.

Went on a huge 4 months long adventure in the States, finally saw how Americans live. Got a CA license, drove 2 and a half thousand miles to LA, Arizona, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Sequoia and back to SF. Drove a p71 ex cop car around New York and Philly.
Finishing my MA in graphic design, starting a small design team with my friend (shameless plug).
Got out of a long relationship but we truly stayed friends and still hang out, which is rare.
Bad news is I’m still trying to find my Secret Senna a suitable present, sadly he/she’ll get it next year...
Life is good as long as I don’t watch the news.

It’s definitely still my baby. I finally understand that feeling of owning a car you really care about and are proud of. It’s really amazing.
And my job is fun because I’m driving something different every day. At this point everything from a new C7 Z06 to a Ford F450 Super Duty, Stinger GTs, Focus RS, and everything in between.

I’ll split them up. My old therapist said listing things out can help me feel better:
Good:
- Got a third, rare smart.
- Lost 50 pounds.
- Got a house.
- Got promoted.
- Finally financially independent and free.
- Stronger than I’ve ever been before.
- Bonded with family.
- Solidified my future goals.
- Built my first computer!
Bad:
- Continued to be harassed by a deranged drug dealer.
- Lost my house (because of the above).
- Broke up with the love of my life.
- Attempted suicide (once), seriously considered suicide only a couple months after.
- Back living with my parents.
- Struggling with emotional stability.
- Living in a country in which the government would like it if I did not exist.

I absolutely love it.
I’m not a fan of BMW bikes, same for the look of the R nine T and everything about the F800gs. Not that I’ve ridden any mind you. The S1000rr rips though.
Everyone I’ve ever talked to loves their multis and man can those things handle too. They’re nuts. And comfortable. And sound great. I prefer the look of a monster, but obviously that’s just personal preference.

A family member owns the F 800 GS and it is quite a bike! I really like it! About the R90 I don’t like it (and fuck you BMW for thinking “R-nine-t” is a good name!); it’s got an old lumpy engine, and it’s nothing but a parts fest made for the same ilk that would buy the Ducati Scramblers: Hipsters.
I fell in love with ADVs because of how flexible they are.. but I can understand that sometimes these are too wide and too heavy to be realistic daily riders

I unexpectedly ended up with a new job. Still underpaid for my field, but getting infinitely better experience than the previous gig and I like all my coworkers a lot more. Finally got the Volvo back on the road, and this spring it will be the Bronco’s turn.

Neither actually! I work with a third party company and do photography for a handful of car dealerships. I’m that guy who then uploads the photos to their websites, autotrader, cars, and some other sites. But luckily the dealers like me enough now I can spend a little more time with the cars and play with them.
Hoping it’s a stepping stone to eventually get me doing some journalism on any level.
