Mine is the yuuuuge pretzel with icing and sprinkles. It’s s’posed to be good luck if you eat a chunk of it after midnight.

I get to celebrate by closing at work on one of the most busy nights of the year. Yay for working in a restaurant.

One thing that my mom did every new year’s when I was a kid was a reuben pizza. I forget why that was even a tradition, but it was a delicious tradition.
Hand-made crust, with some rye bread mix mixed into pizza crust mix, thousand island as the sauce, swiss cheese, corned beef, and sauerkraut as the toppings.
Nowadays I just go to visit some friends in New Hampshire for a TDI get together, even though I don’t even have a TDI any more.

We never made a big deal of New Years growing up so it doesn’t really register as something important to me. But since I’ve been married our tradition is to go to some place/party that dissapoints my wife and she’s the planner.
