It has an extremely reliable drive train, it looks great, and it is available with a stick. Now that you can pick these up for the price of a new base Fiesta ST, it’s also a bargain. I’m pretty sure one will be my next car. I don’t know when, but at some point in the probably long future, I will have one.

The wagon is not worth the $30k premium, and the coupe is ugly.

The interior sucks, the fuel economy is sort of terrible, but otherwise ok.

I can handle the interior and the fuel economy. Tire costs and other maintenance is what is holding me back at the moment.

I actually like the stock wheels, provided they aren’t in chrome. There is one locally on Z28 wheels, and it looks sick.

It’s going to be abused either way, people don’t tend to buy these to baby them. It’s a small block Chevy, a Tremec manual, and decently strong surrounding parts, so I’m fine with a rougher example.
