Fun fact: The recession set Ford launches back several years. Stuff we’re getting this year - like the Expedition - was supposed to have been launched around 2013, which would have been about the same time as the gm trio came out. The new Super Duty should have been out a couple years ago. The 2018 F-150 was supposed to be the 2016 refresh on the 2012 aluminum-body iteration. The Taurus was supposed to have been on a stretched Fusion platform for the last few years with the newer design like the Fusion is on. Et cetera, et cetera.

Also: The Expedition is better looking. Round wheel wells, better-looking headlights that actually match the tail light shape, and the air inlets below the headlights integrate better with the design.
