Past 3:11 in the first clip it gets all thud-y and I guess some people like that but not me. If anyone can splice that with the cut from the second clip and make the end part of the first one just a sort of backing/bed, that would be great.

Past 3:11 is the best part of that song.
I’m confused though cause you say you don’t like it but that you want it mixed with the second song. You can do all this is a free program called audacity. But just going by ear the two clips aren’t going to mix well together without further modifying the songs.
