The guy who was supposed to come install the new front door today was battling food poisoning, so Mrs. Shoe Pilot and I had a weekday to go do something. We decided to go to the Blue Bell factory in Brenham, Texas. Blue Bell is the best store bought ice cream on planet earth (If you believe otherwise, you’re wrong. Fight me.) and we’ve wanted to go to the factory but it’s closed on weekends. However, today was not a weekend, so off we went.

It wasn’t in production. I sampled Butter Listeria Crunch but then had a cup of Peppermint.
I love Blue Bell Peppermint ice cream. I need to go to stores and buy up as much as I can so that I can stock my shop freezer and have it all year long.

We always pass thru on the weekends. I remember, as a kid, walking the whole plant. We finally made it thru this last year with the daughter and her friend.
