Starting Tuesday morning, I’ll be a porter at Suburban Dodge/Ram/Chrysler/Jeep here in GC!
Time to start dumping fucktons of money into the Dakota (which I’m not even driving right now because the heater stopped working)
Yay me!

Yeah, I know, but at least I’ll be working with my best friend, doing the same thing.

Congrats on your first job, I hope it teaches you many valuable lessons but also gives you the freedom to do more with extra money in your pocket.

Remember that even if you hate your bosses and coworkers ALWAYS be friendly with them. Then you can snag them as a reference in the future. I left my second and third jobs without getting any, and it’s really hurt my resume.

To be honest, I’ve never had an interest in drinking. I don’t know why, I just don’t really want to.

Nothing wrong with that. And a better reason to say no than something so minor as the law.

I’ve always put down someone’s info I trust as a reference, which was very rarely my current manager/boss. Sometimes a manager of a different department, a girl in HR I was friends with outside of work, previous managers from years prior. People I have no doubt will only have good things to say. I also warn them ahead of time that they may be getting a call about me, so they have time to think about what they would say, instead of being caught off guard by a random phone call. It’s worked out well.
