I “Cash for Clunkered” one of those for an 09 Pontiac Vibe GT manual (which my sister still has). The interior was falling apart, electrical gremlins everywhere, engine coil issues... It was up for sale for a about a year so the trade-in program was a godsend. The $4500 I got was probably more than I would have got if I sold it.

I was contemplating these the other day...
When the Expedition and Excursion were released they were considered to be huge vehicles by the auto media and most consumers standards of the day. Aside from the older Suburbans, it seemed like there was really nothing bigger on the road.
Now when I see them on the road they seem much smaller than they used to for some reason.

Excursions are still pretty damn big even by today’s standards. My dad daily drove one for years. It was 6 inches longer than a suburban.
