So I don’t have the truck yet, Xmas made it hard to find a truck going cross country. I have been looking into regearing it so it has a better on road performance, but those gears are only made in batches by Vintage Power Wagons every couple of years and are slated for a batch next summer. That’s ok, I can drive it around West Marin and out to surf. I plan to send the parts to a place called M Series Rebuild that does all military vehicles and have the assemblies from the axles regeared and probably the steering knuckles replaced as well as have them fit the brackets for a disk brake kit they make. But I have time until that happens so I can drive it as is and get used to it. Then while the truck parts are sent out and the truck can’t be driven, I think I’ll put a heater in it since they don’t have those either. Well here are some vintage pics in the meantime.
