Kinja'd!!!

I’m no stranger to it. I fondly remember GTA-1; yes i’m old. However, I’m on the PC and the control mapping is a bit wonky. I’d like to find the Oppo world and find a few of you from time to time. I have no idea where that may be, but if you need a name I’m currently “Kim_Jong_illin”. Perhaps ill get used to things and run a good company.

Good luck. The way GTA is laid out it’s *VERY* hard to get caught up. I’d suggest saving up for an import/export garage ASAP as that’s the quickest way to farm money that I’ve found. I think the starting cost is something like $4mil to get the executive office and warehouse that you need (yes, two things). Until then I’d avoid large purchases (office, house, etc.) as they’ll just end up being a waste of money. The first car you buy should be an Armored Kuruma. It is almost game-breakingly effective as you are effectively impervious to bullets inside it but can shoot out. Makes many of the early-game missions a breeze. Personally as you’re new I’d grind a bunch of stunt races and PVP modes before diving into the open-world stuff. Raise some funds that way so you can buy some good starter equipment. It’s been so long since I started that I can’t remember what there is to do at the lower levels.

Welcome to the grind fest, but also one of the most varied online multiplayer games I’ve ever experienced.

I’ve been out of GTA V for a while but I do recall the controls being a bit awkward. A keyboard is lacking in precision when it comes to driving and controllers have the same problem when it comes to shooting. However, the game supports both input methods simultaneously, so making use of both is an option. It’s what I wound up settling into after a while.

Add me on social club, jayhawk_jake I think. Steam too for that matter, same name.

Some friends and I from oppo have been playing a lot the last few days, and will probably continue. I do a fair amount of griding in free mode for money that can make you a decent amount of cash and rp.
