AMS managed to run 10's at 126 recently in their “Red Alpha” Q60. Could only find a video on their FB page of the run but this video by AMS talks about.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

From what I have gathered, it’s a Q60 red sport with intakes, full exhaust, ECUTEK tune, and driveshaft.

Another tuner recently managed a low 11 at 124 with intake, exhaust, and ECUTEK tune.

No idea if these guys are running race gas, E98, E85, E30... Your guess is as good as mine.

Not too shabby for a gussied up Nissan. This car is turning out to be a bit of a baby GTR.

Mostly because they can. The engine takes exceptionally well to mods and the transmission is holding up well. People are easily making over 400whp with just a tune and FBO is around 450whp. One tuner exceeded 600 rwtq but dialed it back to 540 nust to be safe. Lol.

There are 3 tuning software options that I am aware of and more and more tuners are getting involved. The chassis is decent as well.

AMS got involved because Nissan North America actually approached them and asked them what they could do with the platform and these are the results so far. AMS is working on trying to get into the 9's with stock turbos and no nitrous.

Personally, I love how quick mine is. The surge of torque is addictive

It looks great but it just looks so massive I wouldn’t want to take it around corners.

They aren’t much bigger than their direct competitors.

The Q60 and Q50 (sedan version) are just under 2 inches longer than an F32 4 series in their wheelbase and overall length.

The chassis isn’t bad either. It’s basically a more rigid G37. But the stock runflats and suspension aren’t great. It would take a nice set of tires, sway bars, and probably coilovers to make it handle half decent. But then you’d have to deal with the 7 speed auto, which upshifts fast and hard, but doesn’t react nearly as fast to downshift requests as a ZF 8 speed in a BMW or Audi.

Mine is basically a highway cruiser, which is what I wanted in my daily.

As a highway cruiser, I agree its a solid choice. I find this also in the 4 Series as well as the A5.

As you can probably tell I’m more of a sedan person.

I’m more of a sedan person as well. The Q50 is the sedan version and what I own. It’s bigger than an E90 by a decent margin in most ways. It doesn’t feel very large from behind the wheel though. The dash is short, the doors aren’t as tall as most other new sedans, and the seating position is nice. The view and feeling from behind the wheel was one of the things I liked about the car. But it is definitely not nearly as nimble as an E90, for example.

Oh I know, the E90 feels tiny. Why did you end up with the coupe, if you don’t mind me asking.

I got the Q50, which is the sedan version of the Q60. I needed a usable back seat because of my dog.
