 I did not purchase this. On a related note, my in laws may be trying to kill me. Luckily I don’t like ranch dressing at all. It doesn’t even taste that good. I give it 4 artery blockages out of 10.

I remember on my cross country road trip we stopped at an Arby’s because they had some sort of buy one get one or buy two get one type deal. It was a small, sad little Arby’s. We could see the whole kitchen and prep area. We watched as they cut the “meat” out of its plastic and put it on a deli slicer. It looked like brown jello with brown juice dripping off. It did not resemble meat in any way.

We remarked on how gross it looked and why anyone would eat it. We then made our respective orders and ate our dinners.

Local pub has a burger with a grilled cheese sandwich replacing each bun. They go all out with “only the finest” ingredients..... And, well.

It’s amazing. Probably takes a year off of your life but they really nailed it

They have the Mushroom Swiss Thickburger at Carls Jr in Canada.

...but chili cheese fries are location dependant, and that’s some damn disappointing horseshit when you want some chili cheese fries. The non chili locations serve bacon ranch fries however, which is of no consolation whatsoever. Also, the gravy for the poutine tastes wierd. Did I mention that they really need chili cheese fries at all locations?

Another thing... For a while they were pushing their “Hand scooped shakes and malts.” I ordered a chocolate malt. I am told that they don’t serve chocolate malts, or any types of malt at all. I look around at the bold typeface “Hand scooped shakes and malts” written dozens of times across the restaurants walls, windows, counter, menu, cups, and order a strawberry shake. (which while delicious was most certainly not a malt.)

Regardless, (or is it irregardless, since that’s now apparently a word) I do love me some Carls Jr.

DEl Diablo burger anyone? Mmmmm. ...and chili cheese fries, of course.

i think piri piri and peri peri are actually different but similar things.. but tbh... even with the just the herbs..ive not found two brands of piri piri that tasted the same... some i like.. some not so much

We have a Chipotle near us, but a couple of years ago, we discovered a local joint called the “Taco Grill and Salsa Bar”, which is a total dive joint with the friendliest people, the best food, and the HOTTEST homemade salsas — now there’s no point in me ever going to Chipotle.

There used to be something like that at a restaurant that closed near my in laws. It was a bacon cheeseburger with pulled pork and had grilled cheese sandwiches in place of the bun.

The name is a PERFECT description of what it is, too- grilled meat tacos (lots of choices, inc. al pastor, lengua, etc), and a bar with about 30 kinds of home made salsa, pickled jalapenos, etc etc. And about 27 of the 30 salsas are X or XX hot - and they’re truly hot (and tasty!).

I actually hated it growing up. So bad that at my 2nd job one of my friends put one of those little ranch cups down in the bottom of my drink with my straw stuck into it. Hilarity ensued. But sometime in my early 20's I suddenly had to have ranch on just about everything.

I tend to like fairly strong flavors, and I think ranch, sour cream, etc., serve mainly to mask them (notably on spicy foods) - and I’m kind of glad I don’t like it, really, since it adds calories.
