This graph from today’s WSJ is supposed to indicate that college-educated women are increasingly supporting Democrats.

I always wonder how long the form to fill out, questions asked and how they determine truth is involved in these ‘surveys’.

If I am bored enough I will answer these on the street, but I like to skew the results and be that small print which is a margin of error!

In the last 10+ years or so, I’ve been to many university graduation ceremonies. Seems like the vast majority of those graduating were women (minority women to boot). What a wonderful thing to see honestly. Gives me hope for the future. Glad to know the reign of racist of men will soon die off.

Hot take 1: It’s almost like women want to protect their rights. Wow.

Hot take 2: It’s almost like education makes you realize liberal leadership is generally better for everybody.

Lukewarm take: Look at the more sharp turn at 2014, right about when campaigning for 2016 began. All groups except non-college educated women sharply leaned left. All but maybe 2 republicans who were running (Kasich and Graham) were pretty extreme right wingers, idiots (cough cough, who’s in charge of HUD?), or tokens. The election was a shitshow from the start. It’s no wonder most people in the US supported a democrat for the whitehouse.

The DJT show has had a real effect on me and I won’t write an overly long comment about it, except to say that I do not believe in a natural resources caste system and it’s perfectly reasonable for people to want to come here make a living for their families. That said, in order to make that possible, enough of the right people need to get elected to make laws that make it possible. And as for reproductive freedom, the ultimate arbiter will be, in my take on the universe, the One who conducts the Great Interview in the Sky.

I think I agree with you. It should be easier to gain citizenship in the US. I don’t think wilderness (national parks/monuments, the arctic, etc.) should be exploited for resources.

Why does it show that everyone is moving right? This graph just seems to show that some groups have slowed their movement to the right. Except light blue. That seems odd.
