For me, the best part about Christmas is the day after. No more relatives to entertain- however much we do love them, leftovers to eat, toys & presents to play with, and NO WORK.
For those of you working today, I am deeply sorry and I’ll have an extra cup of hot cocoa for you today.
Keeping it non-denominational, hopefully anyone of any religion who doesn’t need to work today joins me in this tradition of doing absolutely nothing today.

I’m working today, although I work from home and nearly everyone else I work with is off this week. I took next week off, though. My stress level will decrease after next weekend, my son’s birthday on New Year’s Eve and my wife is still on edge about planning his party.

I love the “no work” thing.
For the first time since I’ve stopped working retail, my employer didn’t give me the day after off. So I said “fuck no I’m not working the day after Christmas” and took it off anyway.
