Time for my annual post where I show the highlights of all the cars I’ve seen this year.
On the first of the year, I took this rather nice picture of my last car, a 1998 Lexus GS300.
Next we have this amazingly poorly parked Fiesta. It’s roughly 2.5 ft from the curb and the back of it is in the middle of the road.
Next we have some cars from the Chicago Auto Show, including this lovely yellow Aventador Roadster.
The stunning Kia Stinger GT. I know not everyone loves it but it’s so much better in person and the blue is spectacular.
Jay Leno’s 2017 Ford GT
A gorgeous Porsche 918 Spyder in Riviera Blue, 1 of only 3 in this color.
Cayman GT4 Clubsport, a car where you pay twice as much to have fewer features!
Enough Cayman racers to make a spec racing series.
Count the GT3-RS’s!
A very subtle 911R, which was for sale for a mere $575,000 (this was before Porsche announced the next GT3 would have a manual option).
The 1 of 235 Porsche 911 Endurance Racing Edition.
A bad picture, but someone was enjoying their BMW 2002 on a clear spring day.
One of my dream cars, the Jaguar XKR-S in British Racing Green. Sadly this one had seen better days and needed minor body work, to the tune of $7500.
A BMW M4, made to be better than the GTS but for less money, while still retaining the factory warranty. And there’s one key difference between this and the GTS that makes this better:
Surprisingly, it’s still for sale.

A visit to EarthRoamer was incredible. For those unfamiliar with EarthRoamer, they make some of the most luxurious Class C RV’s that are also capable of going almost anywhere on the planet.

Oh man I miss livin in Colorado for so many reasons. But the prototypes/mules in the mountains was one of them. When I was living there I caught the current generation Range Rover mules and jaguar f type mule on a run through the Eisenhower pass. Also caught a line of Mercedes mules but they looked like regular c class/ m class mules
