Well, check engine lights beware at my house because I just got this: https://www.amazon.com/Tacklife-Scanner-AOBD2A-Diagnostic-Streams/dp/B075VN7T4M . Haven’t tried it out yet, but this seems handy.

Personally I use:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00OMT6UEK/ref=oh_aui_i_sh_in_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and the Torque app on my phone. Bluetooth connectivity, then can Google any needed resolution - eg: a transmission CPU error code triggered but was actually a result of low battery voltage.

That seems a lot better. I don’t have a smartphone, so that makes it difficult for me to use. I like it!

Just did a weeks vacation took the fam north in our cheap people hauler at 1700 miles into the trip it threw a check engine light on the way home. Haven’t checked it yet but hoping it’s just the “small emissions leak” code it likes to throw every so often.
