in a brand new 10th gen accord, white exterior, white interior, white occupants, and white Texan plates, he parks his car right next to the door to the cafeteria where I was sitting writing one of my many shit-posts. I was too curious; it was the first 10th gen I had seen so I went outside and asked about it. He said it was the 1.5 turbo with 200 HP (190?) and that he was very happy with it... he then said “Its one of the firsts Hondas with a CVT and it is great!”

I tried to politely leave before he would say something worse...

Yes. I bought our 2013 Civic specifically because it didn’t have a CVT.

At least in the Civic. Honda CVTs aren’t bad.

Except they are terrible and so many of them break. At least we have a failure issue with Subaru CVTs
