Classic cars are meant to be driven, not stored in a garage!

Feels like it’s been ages since you posted, how’s College going?

That’s fantastic. How’s it holding up in the snow?

I wish I had the balls, but a decent paintjob is $10k around here. They rust too easy, and it’s too damn cold to be washing it afterwards.

It’s got brand new tires so it’s better than in the past... but the fact they’re summer performance tires does not do it any favors. It’s incredibly easy to drive and years ago I drove it as my daily, so I’m pretty use to how it works in the snow.

I stayed to roads that were not salted, I put too much time and care into the bodywork to have it rust out that quickly.

Ballsy! I’m slipping around with brand new winter tires... Course that’s half the fun.

Also I don’t think I’ve ever seen a trans am in that good of shape. Is the bird a vinyl or painted on?

My only concern is the salt. After a snow, I’ll go out in another car and check the conditions first. If everything looks like Bonneville in a windstorm, it can stay parked until after it rains.
