Kinja'd!!!

Left-hand drive FB Holdens were exported in left hand drive to various markets, making it the first left-hand drive Holden. These markets included the French Pacific overseas department New Caledonia, the New Hebrides (now Vanuatu), the Philippines, and most bizarrely, Hawaii. This was a year after Hawaii became a state, making it one of the few cases when a car was sold in only one US state. I can’t think of many other modern examples.

Kinja'd!!!

There were though a few cars, like the Chevy Spectrum that was initially only sold in West Coast states because of import restrictions, that were only sold in select areas. Even then, the Spectrum was eventually made available in all of the US.

Seems like a lot have been repatriated back to Australia. Hawaii seems like a pretty friendly climate to cars though, so I’d imagine there’s at least a few still kicking around. I don’t think they sold too many in the first place though.

I believe there are a few electric cars (mostly electrified versions of existing gas cars) which are only sold in California.

Yep, exclusively sold in California, and I think total delivered were only a little over 100.
