It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I got a text it was delivered. Ran outside and found the mailman on his way to my steps. There have been many reports of packages being stolen recently immediately after they’re delivered so I was happy to be home at the time.
Unfortunately the phone getting here early beats out the case I ordered on amazon. Debating if I wanna risk walking around caseless for a few days or pick something up from the store.

Set up took a while. Some was super convenient since my current phone is also an iPhone. Just had to have them close together and it did a lot of set up. Had to download and update to the newest version of iOS. No way to skip the process. Then setting up from my iCloud backup. I left it behind while it downloaded apps. But since it was setting up from my back up I didn’t have to re log into Oppo at least.

im still trying to decide if i want to replace my S6 for an iphone x or a google pixel 2 xl. but right now my phone bill is currently 60 dollars cheaper because both my wife and my phones are paid in full so i may end up waiting a bit. the s6 still works although its got a noticable screen burn-in and the glass that protects the camera lense is shattered

My phone just got paid off so the bill went down a little bit I used a Christmas tip as a down payment so the monthly will stay the same as it was with this phone. I’d keep this one but my mom needs a new phone and I promised her this one

I got mine on launch day and I absolutely love it. FaceID has far exceeded my expectations and it seems to get better all the time. I upgraded from an iPhone 6 so the improvement was huge in every aspect.
I dislike the way it feels with a case on it. I have a case on it when I’m doing something, but if I’m at my desk or hanging around the house I take it off.

I love how dense and substantial it is without the case. I use an Apple silicone case (Cobalt) and it’s been perfect. I’ve dropped my phone 3 times on tile with no issues.

You’ll love it. I came from a Nexus 6 and the iPhone X is a great upgrade. The new gestures are more natural than a home button and makes one handed operation super easy. One thing though is Face ID limits my table operation. I can’t check the notification by just tapping the screen while it lays on my desk. I have to pick it up. Not a big deal but it is an annoyance.

That’s not bad. The only time I’ve seen them that cheap is with a qualifying trade in which I don’t have lol
