The Civic Type-R won Top Gear’s car of the year? I guess you have to subscribe to the magazine to read the article, but I’m extremely shocked to say the least. I really wanna know how they chose it over the McLaren and Ford GT. I’m guessing it’s not specifically a “Driver’s car of the year” since I’m guessing the only way it could stack up against the other cars mentioned would be it’s practicality, but still. wow...

The McLaren and Ford GT aren’t as available to the general public as the Honda Civic Type-R though

The McLaren got Supercar of the year and the Ford GT got Track Car of the year.

The Ford Focus RS got it in 2016,

The BMW i8 got it in 2014,

I think I might be able to buy a Type-R at some point. I don’t think I could buy a GT or a McLaren. Both are amazing cars, but the Type-R is something that’s actually attainable and usable.

being the top performer that doesnt use gas and never breaks and is fast as hell AND gives blow jobs would win it...but if only a few people can buy the car...then there is no point.

I guess it makes more sence if the RS got it last year.

There are categories but I think the car of the year is maybe supposed to be the best all rounder that’s accessible to all.
