The dealer just called and told me to get my broken wheel the heck off their shop floor. So I’m taking the long way. I’ve had this car 2 years and redline shifts still haven’t gotten old. It may be slow, but it entertains. Anyway, what’s new? Who’s off of work/school? What are the plans?

Off tomorrow to celebrate a friend getting his master’s degree, and then stretching that vacation through next Tuesday to dick around with whatever neat shit I get for Xmas.

I’m off until next Wednesday, and still have to do nearly all of my Christmas shopping. Also, my partner and I have a really terrible cold or flu. I’ve only had it since Sunday but he’s had it for over a week now. Not much fun.

Off school, but flying to Italy in a few days to study abroad. Cars will be seen, roads will be driven, engines will be revved, and gears will be shifted.
First time studying abroad, I can hardly contain my excitement.
Btw, how did you get the machined-face wheels on a manual Forester? I thought they were only on the XT?

Eek get better soon! Something’s been going around here too. My dad is visiting and is in the med clinic now and my son probably has an ear infection. Not the best time of year for it! Good luck shopping. I hate doing it last minute.

That sounds awesome. I’ve visited Italy and it is tons of fun. I didn’t get to drive there though so I’m super jealous. Wheels are from an XT. I bought them from someone on CL who put custom wheels on his XT. And now I’ve broken one (if I had taken a picture of the other side you’d see the original steel wheel). Finding just one as a replacement has been a chore but I should be able to pick one up tomorrow.
