GAWDDAMNIT that looks utterly delicious. I wish I could still eat real food. I fucking love some chicken tikka masala.

Fucking celiacs. And dairy. And soy allergies.

I want real food again. *cries*

Not understanding how you can be eating like a king everyday. Here I am with my scrambled egg and top ramen.

Coeliac, dairy and soy allergies. Ouch.

I was coeliac from birth but went into remission just over 20 years ago.

Things are a lot better now for choice of foods than when I was a kid but I’m afraid that isn’t much consolation to you.

Keep in there mate.

I wish the US had more Indian food. Here you find plenty of it in larger cities, but in the UK it’s like every street corner of every small town. And even the local pubs (and McDonald’s) have a pretty substantial Indian menu.

I guess you could say that about Mexican food here, so I’m not really complaining. Much.

Serious inquiry: what you say your diet currently consists of? What’s a full dinner entail for Adabaopopabopoo?

Lol. Yours sounds good too.

I work in a supermarket and these foods aren’t expensive to put together but I don’t always eat like this, often I just throw whatever there is to hand in my mouth to either keep going or to find time to sleep.

If I was working tonight I’d of been eating a few small pork pies a couple of cans of energy drink.

When I’m off work I’ve more time to spend cooking.

The chicken tikka masala is one of two British national dishes that compete for the top spot. The other being fish and chips of course.

Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants and takeaways are part of British culture and history.

We love our spicy food over here.

Last night was leftover gluten-free meatloaf we had frozen that I fried in GF olive oil with some dairy-free mashed potatoes that I also fried with some dairy and soy free ‘butter’-like-substance that I can eat. I was also able to add some GF BBQ sauce to the meatloaf.

That’s one of the good meals. I usually can have some lean meat and starch. So meat and rice or potatoes. I cannot have most veggies, especially tomatoes. So no ‘ethnic’ foods; no Chinese (I fucking love General Tsao’s chicken), no Indian (see above), basically nothing interesting or flavorful. I want more variety but I can only have meat and plain white starches. Except sweet potatoes, which are just an orange potato.

Why no vegetables?

Acid reflux diet; GERD.

I hate food right now. If I could live without eating, I would. I am tired of having to worry about everything I eat potentially making me miserable.

I hope you never have to deal with something like this.
